Vemo Education CEO Invited to be Panelist at Alpha Hedge East Conference in Palm Beach

RESTON, VIRGINIA (February 2, 2016) – Tonio DeSorrento, CEO of Vemo Education, an education technology company working with U.S. colleges and universities to develop and service value-oriented, income-based student financing programs, has been invited to be a panelist at the 22nd Annual Alpha Hedge East conference February 29-March 1, the company announced today.
Co-hosted by Information Management Group (IMN) and the Florida Alternative Investment Alliance, Alpha Hedge East will bring together the hedge fund community to explore new allocation strategies and discuss the future of hedge fund investing.
DeSorrento will be featured on the February 29 panel titled “Student Debt: Finding Opportunities within the Morass”, which will explore the student debt market as a possible entry market for fund managers as well as examine the opportunities and risks associated with this space. DeSorrento will sit on this panel as the student financing expert, alongside portfolio managers from FlowPoint Capital Partners, Pine Capital and WhaleRock Point Partners, LLC.
As has become conference tradition over the years, the event dates follow the final round of the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic and will be held at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
