Tonio DeSorrento, CEO of Vemo Education, to Moderate Panel at Flagship FinTech Conference LendIt USA 2016

RESTON, VIRGINIA (March 31, 2016) – LendIt, the largest conference series dedicated to connecting the global online lending community, has invited Tonio DeSorrento, CEO of education finance company Vemo Education, to moderate a panel discussion at its flagship conference, LendIt USA 2016.
Held at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco April 11-12, LendIt USA will gather together over 4,000 decision makers from leading lending platforms, investment firms and service providers for two days of educational, networking and business development opportunities. Keynote speakers include Lending Club Founder and CEO Renaud Laplanche and entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel, whose resumé includes co-founder of PayPal, co-founder of Palantir and Facebook’s first outside investor.
On the agenda for LendIt USA are a series of large presentations and panel discussions known as Deep Dive Track sessions, which are focused on topics important to various sectors in marketplace lending. DeSorrento will moderate a panel discussion titled “The Competition Heats Up in Student Loans” within the Deep Dive Track: Consumer Lending. In addition to DeSorrento, this panel will feature an expert lineup including Gary Lieberman of Darien Rowayton Bank, Zander Rafael of Climb, Louis Beryl of Earnest and Stephen Dash of Credible.
